	As like the entire country Shri Gujrati English Medium Higher Secondary School too observed late President Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan’s birthday on September 5 as Teacher’s Day. As part of the programme faculty members were felicitated by the School Management Committee. The students also showed their respect and devotion towards teachers through various activities like speech, dance and beautiful quotations.

	Shri Gujrati English Medium Higher Secondary School run by Shri Gujrati Shikshan Sangh celebrated 63rd Independence Day at its school premises in presence of Magan Bhai Patel, President of Shri Gujrati Shikshan Sangh as chief guest and other members of management committee as special guests of the occasion. At the onset chief guest hoisted the National Flag. The students delivered patriotic speeches and presented patriotic songs and dances.
	Shri Gujrati English Medium Higher Secondary School organized a programme on July 29 ( Monday), 2019 to administer oath to its newly formed student cabinet. Prof Dr K. L. Verma, Vice Chancellor Pt Ravishanker Shukla University, Raipur was present as chief guest and administered oath to the student cabinet. On this occasion all the office bearers of Shri Gujrati Shikshan Sangh were also present.
	Scintillating performances(Sankalp 2018-19) marked Annual Function of Shri Gujrati English School. Students displayed their talents through various dance forms, plays and songs. The programme was loved and appreciates by one and all.
	With an aim to apprise the students about Indian constitution and to observe the acceptance of Indian constitution, constitution pledge was administered to the students on November 26,2018.
	Independence Day Celebration:- Along with the entire country, Shri Gujrati English Med. Hr. Sec. school, Devendra Nagar, Raipur(C.G) too observed 72nd Independence day amongst a simple function due to sudden demise of Chhattisgarh state governor Balram Dassji Tandon. The national flag was unfurled and two minutes silence was observed in memory of departed soul.
	Annual Sports meet of Shri Gujrati English Med. Hr. Sec. School was organized on December 16th,2017 in presence of Bharat Bhai Sawaria, President of patron committee, Shri Gujrati Shikshan Sangh as chief guest. Students of four houses presented a disciplined march past along with presentation of attractive drill by the student of pre-primary, primary and middle section.
